| I have been playing guitar for about 9 years. I dont play much lead, but I can play this intrument like nobody's buisness. Musical talents run in my family. My grandfather was a great banjo player, I have 2 uncles and a cousin who play guitar, one of whom also plays bass. My cousin was the drummer and founder of the band Extreme in the late 80's and early 90's, and is now the manager for the band Godsmack. I guess it was just meant to be that I play an instument!!! Music:Member Since: 11/02/2007Band Members: Jeff Garren- Guitars myspace pimp myspace Influences: Nothing influences me more than my equipment. I play a Yahmaha Pacifica with a Seymour Duncan Distortion Humbucker, a PRS SE Custom, and a Peavey Valve King 212 100 watt amplifier. Some the guitarist whom have influenced my playing style are "DimeBag" Darrell....R.I.P., Kirk Hammett, Steve Vai and Jerry Cantrell. I like the heavier sounds, but not the "Death Metal", I like heavy with melody. I have my own style, and I like to write music, whatever comes out is what I feel.......It is an extension of my being and is a great escape from reality at times. Sounds Like:I sound a little like pantera, system of a down, and old school metal with a new age twist. I am not into " Black Metal" or " Death Metal" really though.
