With the culture quickly budding and more and more talented young artists emerging, it has become clear that the scene needs all the positive input, guidance and promotion it can get. Nurcha aims to give up and comers a chance to get the well deserved exposure they may otherwise not receive. Our signed artists are all on the rise and all possess special talent and a unique sound. All of our boys have nothing but dedication and present themselves with the professionalism that we insist on. An unrivalled work ethic has quickly resulted in our crews gaining respect, not only for their skills, but also for demonstrating the positive future Oz hip-hop has ahead of it. Nurcha Records is responsible for launching many shows in locations that may never have seen live hip-hop before, on top of the usual touring locations Nurcha makes an effort to get artists to settings as wide ranging as Tamworth or Armidale. By doing this we hope to give the youth a chance to see raw Australian hip-hop and motivate them to help the scene grow. We are very proud to have been responsible for launching many local rappers' stage careers, giving them the opportunity to shine at our shows and drop their first ever sets. Rather than focusing on a particular style or subgenre of hip-hop it is Nurcha policy to give everyone a chance and we encourage new artists to really push themselves. In any position of public interest you will always receive mixed responses, while the majority of heads both old school and new are supportive of our work, there are the occasional haters, to these people we welcome you to come along to a show, or give some of our artists a chance. We have no time for negativity or internet arguments, we are serious about what we do and committed to helping Oz hip-hop grow.
