con canciones de los artistas mas representativos del electro pop iberoamericano: Disponible en: www.myspace.com/susurrandodiscos www.susurrando.es Como resultado de una sobredósis de raves (voluntariamente) y de heavy metal ochentero (involuntariamente), Alex Lug debuta con su à lbum Enervante Carnaval en el año 2000, dando a conocer su estilo influenciado por los break beats, house, trip hop y synth pop, logrando vender 2000 copias sin promoción alguna, en un contexto nacional dominado aún por el rock y el hip hop, sin disqueras electrónicas independientes dedicadas a la música electrónica pop (en esa época Opción Sónica era la única y estaba en quiebra). Antes de éste lanzamiento Alex Lug fué incluÃdo por la revista Switch entre las propuestas mas prometedoras para el nuevo siglo entre músicos como Zoé, Fussible, Los Liquits, etc., y Enervante Carnaval fué bien recibido por revistas y periódicos como: Notas Musicales, Tv GuÃa, Donde Ir, Boys & Toys, Uno Mas Uno, Crónica, Reforma y La Jornada. En el 2004 un electro shock musical cambia el rumbo musical de Alex Lug hacia un sonido mas orientado hacia el hi energy, electro, new wave y ebm, pero manteniendo su sonido synth pop publica tres canciones en la recopilación Unisex: una como solista, otra con el proyecto alterno Vodka Baby (junto a Dj Zeee y Alejandra Maldonado, autora de los slogans del palacio de Hierro) y uno más con su proyecto alterno Cobra con la canción "Sé Que Vendrà s" que recientemente fué incluÃda en el soundtrack de la pelÃcula "Asà del Precipicio". En noviembre del 2007 Alex Lug participó en el compilado Diversiones, editado por Discos Susurrando en Madrid, con un cover de Salvame (original de Fangoria), junto artistas de la talla de Fangoria & Lemon Fly, Roberta Marrero, Electronic Boy y la Prohibida entre otros. Después de seis años de presentaciones en directo en lugares como el Marro, Dada X, All Star Cafe, La Perla, Mancera Lounge, Centro Cultural España, El Patio de Mi Casa, el Zócalo de la Ciudad de México o el Boys Room (en el lower east side de Nueva York) entre otros, Lug se encuentra alternando martinis con lychis y Malibus con jugo de piña, fumando mucho y componiendo su nuevo álbum inspirado en la lujuria juvenil que tentativamente se titulará "Electroperlas de ayer, de hoy y de siempre". Además recientemente ha producido música para: Daphne www.myspace.com/daphnemx y Zemmoa www.myspace.com/zemmoa También pueden ver fotos regularmente actualizadas en: www.fotolog.com/alexlug English Bio Alex Lug launched his debut album Enervante Carnaval in the year 2000 with a sound influenced by break beats, house, trip hop and synth pop, selling 2000 copies without any publicity in a time when there wasn't any electronic music indie labels within Mexico. This album got a good feedback from magazines and newspapers like: Notas Musicales, Tv Guia, Donde Ir, Boys & Toys, Cronica, Uno Mas Uno, Reforma, La Jornada, and others. In 2004 Alex Lug published 3 new songs for the compilation Unisex, one as Lug, another with his proyect Vodka Baby, and other with his proyect Cobra, this last song was included in the mexican movie Asi Del Precipicio. In this album Alex Lug apeared besides musicians like Cielo (Madrid), Male Room (New York), Size (Mexico) and Tuxedomoon remixed by Adult (Berlin). In 2007 Discos Susurrando launched in Madrid the compilation Diversiones wich includes Salvame performed by Alex Lug (originaly performed by Fangoria), between musicians like Fangoria & Lemon Fly, La Prohibida, Roberta Marrero, Electronic Boy and other indietronica stars. After 6 years of impresive burlesque performances at venues like Dada X, All Star Cafe, La Perla, Mancera Lounge, Centro Cultural España, El Patio de Mi Casa, Mexico City's Zócalo and The Boys Room (in New York's Lower East side), Alex Lug is drinking a lot of Martini with lychis and malibu with pineaple juice, smoking a lot and composing his new album inspired in young's lust, wich probably is gonna be entitled "Yo no soy otra moderna wannabe". Alex Lug has also produced music for: Zemmoa www.myspace.com/zemmoa and for Daphne www.myspace.com/daphnemx . |
