Doomsday Now ! Recordz is a small company based in dirty old France. We’re specializing in « doomsday music » - which doesn’t mean anything, but we liked the words. To be perfectly honest , our interests range from apocalytic noise-industrial to b-movie garage rock ; this may seem quite incoherent ; it isn’t. We just want to release music the four horsemen would enjoy - while rampaging and plundering the world we know, or while they have a drink after a day of hard work. We make no money and don’t intend to ; we’re not into corporate business. Our records are distributed by hand, on the internet, on merchandise stands, through mail-order, but you won’t probably find any of these on record shops. We have very little money for regular promotion, our only visibility is on the internet. But we’ll release records nobody would release otherwise, and we’ll make sure people listen to these ! Doomsday Now ! Recordz se spécialise dans la musique apocalyptique - ce qui n’a aucun sens, mais les mots nous plaisaient. Pour être parfaitement honnête, nous nous intéressons aussi bien au noise industriel qu’au garage rock de série B - ça peut paraître incohérent ; ça ne l’est pas. Nous voulons sortir des disques que les quatre cavaliers pourraient écouter, en ravageant le monde ou en allant boire un coup après le boulot, au bar du jugement dernier. Nous ne gagnons pas d’argent et n’en avons pas l’intention ; on n’est pas dans le business. Nos productions seront distribuées à la main, sur le net, des stands de merchandising, mais vous n’en trouverez probablement pas en magasin. Notre budget promotion est proche de zéro, notre seule visibilité est l’internet. Mais on va sortir des disques que personne ne sortirait autrement, et se débrouiller pour que des gens les écoutent... |
