This profile was edited with satanspace.com Editor Harduo is an acoustic guitar duo, formed by Raffaello Indri and Andrea Varnier who aim at merging their extremely varied musical experience into original pieces, which they compose and arrange together, in an endless comparison between styles and ideas, impressions and influences. The Harduo’s music doesn’t mean to identify itself with one genre, nor to draw from tradition or restrict itself to the field of acoustic guitar, but, on the contrary, it draws its energy from the diversity and heterogeneity of inspiration, sensitiveness and from the enthusiasm of these two musicians that learn something new every day, drawing from any source and who have chosen to make free use of their instrument, their only limit being imagination.L'Harduo è un duo di chitarre acustiche, composto da Raffaello Indri e Andrea Varnier, che si propone di far confluire le più diverse esperienze musicali all'interno di brani originali, composti ed arrangiati assieme, in un continuo confronto di stili ed idee, suggestioni ed influenze. La musica dell'Harduo non vuole identificarsi in un genere, pescare dalla tradizione o limitarsi al campo della "chitarra acustica", ma anzi prende la sua forza proprio dalla diversità ed eterogeneità dell'ispirazione, dalla sensibilità e dall'entusiasmo di due musicisti che imparano ogni giorno, attingendo da qualsiasi fonte, e che scelgono di esprimersi usando liberamente lo strumento, unico limite la fantasia.Prendono vita così brani molto energici, coinvolgenti e divertenti, ma sempre melodici ed evocativi, dal sapore mediterraneo, o più classico, o addirittura rock, semplici ed invitanti come una danza popolare, oppure intricati e con strutture poliritmiche moderne.Assieme dal 2000, l'Harduo si è esibito diverse volte in regione, non ultimo il concerto di Natale 2003 al teatro di Monfalcone (occasione in cui è stata presentata la coreografia “Il risveglio”, realizzata dall’insegnante di danza Erika Bellin su uno dei loro brani), e dal 2004 si avvale della collaborazione con la cantante Flavia Quass.Nel 2006 l'Harduo ha firmato un contratto per la stampa e distribuzione del primo cd "Ovest Hardita Est", con l'etichetta indipendente FolkEst Dischi, e si esibirà in due date del festival omonimo."Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson |
