I was born in Queens Village, NY but spent the majority of my life in the mile high city of Denver Colorado. I've opened for Destiny's Child, Gerald Albright, Will Downing, Bobby Womack and Alex Bugnon. Currently I'm working on my Doctorate of Education in Administrative Studies and Teacher Specialization. With that I'd love to travel as a visiting professor while I'm on my world tour of course. My greatest accomplishment is raising my twin daughters solo. Single parents keep your heads up, eyes open and minds focused. The debut CD is "Diary of a Diva" which you can purchase at www.yvettewilliams.com or grab the singles right here on myspace. I'm currently working on a Christmas CD to be released Labor Day weekend. I'm in love with the sport of bodybuilding. I used to compete on a novice level 7 years ago. Although I have no desire to go pro, I simply love the sport and admire the athletes. I'd love to start singing for NPC and IFBB events. I'm also a WWE fanatic! You will catch me at all the regional shows. My music is real talk on top of smooth jazz and midtempo R&B. I sing about my reality in hopes that I can reach out and strengthen others who hurt.
