| [ENG] Founded in 1999 out of members of the legendary frankonian 60's-Garage- & LowFi- Bands "Thee Pickles" & "Tristan & the Rosewood" the first evening-rehearsal turned out kind of a little bit abrasive: in the afternoon Guitar-Monster Robin held his hand in a buzz saw, which nibbled off the last articulation of his forefinger - indeed a disadvantage for a guitarist! 6 weeks later the man stands in the rehearsal room presenting his cone triumphantly and the band started rockin' out. The result are "Tune Wedgies" orientated on 60's - Brit-Beat and Garage Classics. Elementary, pure compositions, sustained by a fuzzy-distorted guitar and buzzy organ, backed up by a BoomBass and ThunderDrums. During live - performance the band gets beyond the scope of the compositions spontaneously as Peter "The Duke", Organist from Hell and Head of Kapelle, takes of to a walk around his instrument, playing the keys from all sides, even above his head ... and finally returns behind his organ, which is the hint for the other guys that the solo is over now! There's nothing more to say - watch it if you can ...!!! NEWS 2008: Meanwhile we welcome our new drummer Inspector Oakenmiller ... receiving elementary rhythms straight from inner earth ! [GER] Gegründet 1999 aus Mitgliedern der Pickles und Tristan and the Rosewood gestaltet sich die erste geplante Bandprobe etwas ruppig: Robin, damals Gitarrist in spe, hält am Nachmittag zuvor die Hand in die Kreissäge, die das letzte Gelenk seines Zeigefingers abknabbert – durchaus ein Nachteil für einen Gitarristen. 6 Wochen später steht er dann im Übungsraum, reckt triumphierend seinen Stumpen in die Luft und die Band kann loslegen. Songs entstehen, indem man sich grundsätzlich auf einige Töne einigt und sich dann daran hält – ebenfalls zumindest grundsätzlich. Ergebnis sind Gassenhauer, die sich am britischen Beat der 60-er Jahre orientieren. Einfache, klare Songstrukturen, getragen von verzerrter Gitarre und schwirrender Orgel, untermauert von Wummerbass und Ballertrommeln. Live sprengt das Temperament der Band oft spontan die Songstrukturen und Peter „The Duke“ Kern, Höllenorgler und Head of Kapelle, bricht auf zum Spaziergang um sein Instrument, bearbeitet die Tasten von der Seite, von vorne und von hinten und kehrt schließlich hinter seine Orgel zurück, Zeichen für die anderen Jungs, dass sein Solo nun beendet ist.
