In the year of 2000, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, the guitarist / vocalist Robson Souto and the bassist Sérgio Vianna, reorganized old compositions with the desire to develop and improve its ideas, borning to Land Of Tears. In the beginning the music was created in a death/doom metal vein.Currently, after many changes in the line up, the band is exploring an aggressive sound much more heavy and fast, worried about the technique and musical performance. The new formation is: Robson Souto - (guitar and vocals), Sérgio Vianna - (bass), Wellington Ferrari - (lead guitar) and Mauro Morgado - (drums).After the release of two CD demos that had a great reception from the part of underground public and specialized midia.Land of Tears now is preparing new songs to enter in studio before midle of 2007 to start record a first EP.Currently the Land of Tears does not use more resources of keyboards and females back vocals however not leaving of side our influenceshere already to record in the end of May the or official EP World of Pain. |
