| I was born & raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Thunder Bay in 1998. My first "love" is music. I love all types of music,Classical,Jazz,Country,Rock,you name it. I've got a "knack" for picking out the great stuff. Until I saw Phantom Of The Paradise,I was a hockey loving kid. After that I just wanted to be a "star". But, then I realized that I couldn't sing or play guitar very well. So,I just enjoy listening to the music. I've been working in the automotive aftermarket industry since 1983. I'm an ASE certified parts specialist and in 2005 I was shocked to learn that Jobber News chose me for their Counterperson Of The Year award. (Wow,I was briefly a star)! My wife Teresa is also an automotive parts counterperson, so we get along "great". The second greatest day of my life,(the first was meeting Teresa), was Phantompalooza 2.(April 29,2006). It was a celebration of the 1974 Brian De Palma movie,Phantom Of The Paradise. I've seen the movie over 30 times when I was 11. And countless more times since then. I actually got to meet the "master" of the music Paul Williams(Swan),Jessica Harper(Phoenix),William Finlay(Winslow/THE PHANTOM),Gerrit Graham(Beef). Also Archie Hahn,Peter Elbling(who still has my Sharpie pen),and Dr.Jeff Comanor.(They were The Juicy Fruits, The Beach Bums,& The Undead). And, the late George Memmoli(Philbin) who was with us in spirit. THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING TO WINNIPEG FOR PHANTOMPALOOZA 2!! I'd also like to thank Doug,Gloria,Del,Rod,Mike,"Joe User",and the rest of the wonderful people that helped pull this off. It was an "Awsome" evening!!! TAKE CARE,LIVE WELL,and ENJOY LIFE!!! | |

Movies:Phantom Of The Paradise is my all time favorite, but I like any movie that's rock related or has a good soundtrack. eg. Great Balls Of Fire, Eddie & The Cruisers, etc... I also like Forrest Gump, Happy Gilmour, and movies with a decent storyline. |
