| Xavi Hinojosa (Terrassa, 1981) Empieza a tocar la bateria a los 10 de la mano de su padre. Posteriormente estudia con Aldo Caviglia con quién descubre el JaZz y luego con Javier Crespo. Años después gracias a una beca de la Generalitat de Cataluña se traslada a New York city y estudia con Joe Farnsworth a la vez que participa de manera activa en diferentes jam sessions de la city. Miembro activo de multitud de grupos con los que grava y toca regularmente. A tocado en muchos de los festivales de Jazz más importantes del País y también en el Festival de Jazz de la Habana y en los clubs Sunset/sunside de París y el Pizza Express de Londres en este año 2008.PREMIOS"I concurso de grupos de Jazz de Barcelona" Primer premio con el grupo AFINKE =Jordi Berni trio + Santi de la Rubia en el año 2005."V concurso internacional de intérpretes de Jazz de Granada" Premio al Mejor grupo Jóven con AFINKE= Jordi Berni trio + Santi de la Rubia en el año 2006."Gira INjuve 2007" con Cannonball Adderley Legacy Band en el 2007. | |
