| Raw Fields is a small collective of musicians from the south who are based out of East Nashville, TN. Our music is born of the soul and is the reflection of our past experiences and musical heritage. We have many sides to our sound. We can pluck out the most delicate little acoustic ditty you can imagine, then we can pick up the electric axes and burn the house down! So you never know what to expect from this group. Our influences span from Doc Watson to Led Zeppelin.Drew Veazey is a song writer / guitar picker / mouth harp blower / bass thumper who hails from Paduca KY. He generally likes to walk his dog and jam his tunes.Mike "Train" Roberts is a song writer / guitar shredder / bass thumper who hails from Waco TX (no jokes please). Mike teaches private guitar lessons and is a Luthier by day. Oh yeah, and he's not afraid to ROCK!Jon Lauterer is a percussionist / multi-instrumentalist who hails from Asheville, NC. He works at a custom drum shop during the day and hustles his talents out at night. No style is out of bounds when it comes to his musical ability (if I say so myself).Jenni Lyn Gardner hails from Conway, SC. She plays the mandolin, guitar and sings like a canary. Jenni recently agreed to join Raw Fields when she is not on the road to one of many bluegrass festivals.Jeremy Roberts is a guitar player who sometimes helps us out on bass when necessary.
