| I have avoided creating a myspace account for long enough, but I haven't decided if I'll blog here or not. I have another blog and profile elsewhere that are open to the public. The short story: I grew up in Farmington Hills, Michigan and lived there most of my life (maiden name Ping for those interested). I've lived other places as well (Minnesota, Illinois, Massachusetts, etc.) and am now in Texas. I hate summers here, but there's not much I can do about it at the moment. I used to be a Lutheran school teacher in a previous lifetime. When I tired of teaching I turned to the wonderful world of computers. I am a self proclaimed geek and love all sorts of gadgety type things. I no longer work but stay home to take care of our beautiful daughter. I love to knit, cook, bake, listen to music, watch movies, garden, and more. I am on the crunchy side of things, though not totally over the edge just yet. I am a grammar fascist but make mistakes (look at all my sentences starting with "I!"). I have been married twice, and the second time is for good. That's me in a nutshell.
