Disgrace Contresens Mise à prix Rien Choc Entre deux eaux Philtre Fjord Empreinte Blanc ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------- Le rock est moins solide que la pierre, il s'effrite en diverses tendances. Les sillons épars des Smashing Pumpkins, d'Archive, de Garbage ou encore de Sneaker Pimps se brouillent. TACOMA, trio parisien, nous livre alors sa vision d'un monde sans repères à travers une musique personnelle qui mélange sans complaisance les traumas de l'individu et de l'univers. Constitué d'Astrid au chant, de Max aux synthés et de Sylvain aux guitares, TACOMA est un groupe electro-rock alternatif francophone novateur, l'association du rock moderne et des effluves électroniques. L'amorce est faite quelques années auparavant : Max, mordu de rock, de musique électronique et de production sonore, et Sylvain, formé au conservatoire et très sensible aux teintes metal, forment le trio Crumble, une expérience musicale qui débouche sur un album autoproduit et qui révèle déjà les prémices prometteuses de leur couleur sonore singulière. C'est également sur cette lancée qu'ils apprécient le contact avec le public durant diverses prestations scéniques (au Réservoir, au Sentier des Halles ou encore au Baiser Salé). C'est d'ailleurs au cours de l'un de ces rendez-vous de passionnés que la rencontre inopinée avec Astrid s'avère décisive : sa voix charismatique et son magnétisme séduisent d'emblée et ouvrent de nouveaux horizons pour la suite. Le trio TACOMA est né. Astrid apporte en effet sa sensibilité pop au projet, un sens artistique qu'elle a développé au fil des ans au sein de formations rock, jazz et même théâtrales. Son écriture ciselée et mélancolique entre tout de suite en symbiose avec la sensibilité haineuse des deux compères pour forger l'identité déjà aboutie du groupe : un mélange de guitares bigarrées et massives, de textures synthétiques calcinées, de machineries perturbées et de voix mélodiques (ou le contraire ?)… le juste milieu entre l'infini et le fond d'une bouteille. Tacoma termine aujourd'hui la réalisation de son premier album Europium et répète activement pour se produire très bientôt sur scène. Entrez dans l'univers entre deux eaux de TACOMA… !! ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------- TACOMA members are : Astrid (vocals), Max (synths) and Sylvain (guitars). In Paris, France, they form an alternative electro-rock band of a new kind, the combination of modern rock patterns and electronic contraptions. Max & Sylvain met a few years ago in a trio, Crumble, which happened to be their first serious musical experience. During the making of their first self-produced indie album, they found their way to create their singular, special sound. At that time they were also given the opportunity to perform several gigs (on stages in Paris like Le Reservoir, Le Sentier des Halles or Le Baiser Salé). It’s during one of this events dedicated to music lovers that Astrid and the two fellows bumped into each other... Her charismatic and mellow voice did impress right from the start and revealed great expectations for the future. TACOMA was born. Astrid brought her pop sensitivity and her delicate lyrics to achieve the identity of the band : a personal music about a chaotic world, the junction of both individual and universal traumas.
