About Me |
|
An arable adventure. A collaboration between Mr Ian Walter Barnes and the Ben Kidd Big Band. A shambolic, rustic masterpiece, handcrafted by gnomic artisans from ancient rural artefacts long ago abandoned by the mishievous pixies in the shed at the bottom of the melancholic garden of neglected love. Produced organically, with no pesticides and no GM products. No gnomes or pixies were harmed in the recording of this album. 'littlethings': the video. .. .. .. Myspace Editor "...truly idiosyncratic, silly and brilliant music from the eccentric Tractor Countdown. Rustic dandies and garden gnome musicians live in this act's surreal allotment landscape, and the world's better for it. A curious mix of traditional folk and neo-noir beats filtered through haunting brass and guitar, 'Love's Elusions' succeeds on a grand scale. With debut record Shedworks out soon, this is a promising start." Jeff Hemmings, Music Editor, Latest7 |
