Create a Myspace LED Scroller PAUL TRAVIS (DRUMS) I define my playing style as (Power, Control, Timing, Groove and Tight Pocket). I also have added the double bass aspect to my playing (I don't use it with heavy playing, I just accent and add triplets instead of doubles, to give me a fuller sound). I started playing at the age of 11 while in Grade School. At this young age I learned the fundamentals of the drumming (rudiments, timing, reading, counting, single and double stock roles. I then took an interest in Football so I gave up drumming for about 16 years. I went to a gospel concert about 2 years ago, with Rance Allen, Soul Seekers, Karen Clarke Sheard, Kiki Sheard, and Marvin Sapp. After hearing several outstanding drummers, the fire was set and I went out and purchased an entry level kit.
