That's all you really need to know, but for arguments sake and for you curious MySpace dwellers...I'm a fun-loving, sometimes spontaneous, compassionate, hard working, knowledge hungry, wisdom thirsty person. I just graduated from NYU after a long hiatus away from school. I loved it! School is the sh*t! Yea...yea I'm a geek that way. LoL. I am a radio personality for a show (Tonic Fusion) that I created and implemented at a public radio station (90.3 fm) back in 2000. The show is an eclectic mix of abstract/ambient beats, electro-jazz, neo-soul, afrobeat, deep house, dance, drum 'n' bass, electronica and funky underground music. I always open it up to artists striving to share their talent. So, for those of you who are interested in doing so, hit me up for the mailing address. I would love to hear your stuff!! I've been in to radio since my days back at St. John's University. I met a lot of people there who have influenced me immensely and whom I learned a great deal about music and life from. Y'all know who you are. Thank you! I do admit however that I don't know as much music as I think I should, but I definitely know how to host a show and I know what I like, and that's music that inspires the mind, body and soul in such a way that one can't resist the urge to just vibe to it in whatever way one chooses. You can decide to shake your body body on the dance floor or just sit back, kick up your feet, relax and just listen to the gifts of sounds that brilliant people put together for us to hear. Be open-minded. Be open-hearted. Believe me...you'll learn to like all types of music for different reasons if you just give it a chance. Peace. | |
