| .. DUB Riddimperialism is a Dub Band from Nancy (France) born on September 2006. The band recorded 3 songs in Si Bemol Studio on December 2006 (Vannes le Châtel (54,FR), then mixed in London (UK) by Professor Wya in the Black work Studio. A First Promotion recording : "Before the Invasion" is available. The band is working now on the first album.More information soon ;-) ----------------------------------------------- RIDDIMPERIALISM: "Dub and Connexion" From Nancy (54, Fr.) RIDDIMPERIALISM est un projet Dub originaire de Nancy qui a vu le jour en septembre 2006. Le collectif est composé d'une solide base rythmique (Basse-Batterie-Clavier-Guitare) ayant une expérience importante de la scène et du studio. Et d'un "Dub Professor" chargé de s'occuper des effets, des samples et plus généralement de la « Dub Touch » atypique de cette formation. Le son de ces pros du « One Drop » est un mélange d’influence de la scène Reggae-Dub Traditionnelle Jamaïcaine et de la nouvelle scène Dub qui émerge actuellement en Europe. Autour de ce noyau rythmique gravitent de nombreux « Guest » et « Featuring » venant apporter un métissage au projet. Ce collectif, qui se veux ouvert au maximum, essaye de proposer un dub original, positif et coloré sortant de la cloison minimaliste du « Dub machine Anglais » … Une première démo a été enregistrée en décembre 2006 au Studio Si Bemol à Vannes le Châtel (54, FR) puis a ensuite été mixé à Londres (Uk) dans le Black Work Studio par Professor Wya. Un maxi promo "Before The Invasion", composé de titres studio et de titres live est sortie en juillet 2007. Un premier album rempli d’invités et de connexions est actuellement en préparation... |
