Taken From BBC Cornwall The three piece band The Small Print hail from the sleepy seaside town of Bude and are exploding on the local music scene. Their first EP single has been described as 'near perfect'. The three 17 year old school friends Will Mieville-Hawkins, Nathan Copelin and Darren Piper have been likened to Joy Division back in the early days. The Smiths, Joy Division, White Lies among others have influenced the band who have succeeded in creating a unique guitar heavy style in which they describe as 'New wave dance noise'. Formed in April 2007 largely by accident the boys have lept forward at a ferocious pace fullfilling a busy schedule gigging in Exeter, Plymouth, Barnstable and Penzance. Ace. Time For Heroes Magazine Ballsey and explosive, sounds like Joy Divsion in their Warsaw days. No Modern Romance It’s getting boring by the sea? One listen to TSP’s debut effort will prove its not. Noize.Makes.Enemies One of the most exciting bands around at the moment. Fermez La Bouche!
