I live in the northeast section of the country having been born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Now a resident of Roselle, New Jersey, I like the life living in a suburb has to offer. I have worked in the public school system for over twenty years. I am a writer of children's books and just got published. The books that I have written with my co-author are reflective of children living in the inner city, facing the kinds of challenges and situations of the inner city. We teach values and morals through our stories and every story teaches a lesson. I have also started an online children's book store through Amazon.com. I was a member of an awesome gospel choir for many years. We sang for President Clinton and Pope Paul in the same week. We also sang with Fontella Bass,(How many of you remember her?), we actually sang Rescue Me with her on stage at an event in Brooklyn.What you see on my page are bits and pieces of me, my life and times. There is a memory attached to everything and even though I'm not telling the story behind each one, you can be certain that there is a story. It was an emotional journey looking back, thinking of those times that I have lived through and will never forget. The music of the times, the places I've been, the people I've met, my work with children as a teacher, the thoughts I have had and have tried to live by throughout the years. What an experience!
