CORNERBOY AND KUTZ MET AT A MUSIC TEC COURSE AT THEIR LOCAL COLLEGE IN CUMBERNAULD IN 1997. SOON AFTER R.E.K (REDEYE KNIGHTS) WAS FORMED AND SINCE THAT TIME THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING / PARTYING TOGETHER, DJ'ING, PRODUCING, RECORDING AND MIXING FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHER BANDS, PRODUCERS IN AND AROUND THEIR HOME TOWN. INDIVIDUALLY BOTH ARTISTS AS CORNERBOY AND KUTZ ARE INFLUENCED MAINLY BY BREAKBEAT CULTURE BUT BOTH ARE VERY ECCLECTIC AND TAKE THEIR INFLUENCE FROM A WIDE RANGE OF MUSICAL GENRES. KUTZ IS A VERY FUSSY EATER BUT WILL DRINK ALMOST ANYTHING, CORNERBOY ON THE OTHER HAND IS A VERY FUSSY DRINKER BUT WILL EAT ALMOST ANYTHING. BETWEEN THEM VAST SUMS OF FOOD AND DRINK CAN BE CONSUMED.
