| Download the New EP - FABLE NO CHANCE OF SURVIVAL (MUSIC VIDEO) GeeViouS, pronounced [Gee-ViouS] like devious. This is a combination of names rolled into one. G.V.S. Stands for: Gokenom Venku Siage. In his younger years he had made your regular techno style you would hear a House/Hard House/Breaks DJ spin. He was turned to Drum N Bass in 1997 by a good friend. He had heard Dieselboy - The Descent (Decoder Remix) on his old 70's turntable and immediately fell in love with the genre. He sought out CD's & Events of this genre and got the feel for the style. Later on, his friend gave forth a program he had called: Propellerheads - Reason. He was taught a little on how to construct songs in this program and learned quickly on all the basic things needed. Some of his first material was collaberated with Uh-NuByss and sometimes with another musical friend named Sketchy. He moved to North Carolina in 2000 and put music aside. Taking a break and focusing on life. Six months later he returned to his home town Tampa, Florida. He came back and started right where he left off at in music. He came out with such tracks as "Beach Night Terror, Neji, The Revenant, The Flesh Grinder" & more. GeeViouS was rather displeased that he had no one else that could relate to his music, work on it with and compliment him on it. In 2001 he got together with Infidelik, who was an old buddy & they created the track called "Glimpse". This was a favorite amongst the small circle of friends that enjoyed this style of music. After a while of posting songs on the net he went all over and told people about mp3.com when it was free. He shared his music too many people all over the world. Had great feedback from a good majority of them. After Mp3.com shut down and was revised. He had already found Soundclick.com. Somewhere in his earlier stages he would be on a chat program called mIRC. He found friends who liked video game music. In which case he did too. He figured he would give it a swing at remixing some songs for them and himself. This turned into a big thing when he released the album "Gamemusic Remix Album Volume One". Alot of people liked the songs from the games he remixed and vice versa. He still dabbles into the Game Music Genre to this date. GeeViouS, Gathers alot of the darkness, pain, problems an.., and puts them into his songs. To give them his own "personal touch". He utilizes his raw emotions and puts them into his music. When you would hear a high octave sounding melody, he was happy. Most of the time though, he will stay with the more harder and darker sounds. Low pitches and high/low frequencies. Still learning new things with Reason as it upgrades, he says himself, "I am not ready for anything big. I am no professional, nor have I mastered alot of stuff, seeing as though I'm self taught on all of this. I have much to discover, especially when I complete my studio." He does not expect for others to understand his music. But more so to enjoy the vibe of it. Please visit the soundclick.com link and check out my other pieces of work.
