| Big Thank you to Sir Isaac Hayes.A true leader amongst men. I love playin' and layin' down the funk, the groove, the dancability, and mobility of the body and soul. I can dig the quiet side too with my nylon string guitar. I've been playn' music all my life since 8. In school I played with Patrice Rushen and drummer Ndugu Chancler, however I'm best known as a trumpeter playing with my Pure Funk, Crystal, and doing shows with Edgar Winter, Milan Orange (Commodores), and many others.I still rely on my sense of groove in any and all styles. It's there if one can find and explore it, and as a bass player, along with the drummer, I'm responsible for it, and I love that role.
