Music:People keep telling me I should update my profile and list my musical tastes etc, but as my collection of vinyl and CDs literally ranges from Abba to ZZTop with everything in between (and yes, I do know it's sad to have your stuff shelved alphabetically!!) it would take forever to list everyone I like/admire.Suffice to say there isn't much I don't like - only the most extreme interpretations of some genres eg rap, opera etc, but I can happily listen to most music, which I do most of the time. I love discovering new artists and this is the place to do it!! Check out my friends list!!! Some great established and new talent on there. Please give the new artists some encouragement, send them a Friend Request and tell them I introduced you!! In particular please check out singer/songwriter JOSEPH SWIDENBANK and his band (my Top Friend!!) great friends of mine, whom I am helping to promote (and I run the Fan page for them - please click on the link in my Top Friends also) I'd love it if you would add the Fan Page to your friends A new solo artist I hope you'll check out, whom I am also helping to promote, is the lovely RICCARDO LOPEZ (also in my Top Friends) He is an acoustic rock singer/songwriter (also in my Top Friends) - tell him Mel told you about him!! I have set up a fan page in support of Riccardo to give him more exposure, please take a look and add it to your friends: (if you'd like to add the banner to your page, just message me for the code!) .. Another band who I am telling everyone about is I/O who have the most awesome sound, very atmospheric and different. Dave and Adam are the geniuses behind the writing and the various instruments and my favourite track has to be "Come With Me" featuring the incredible voice of Steve Balsamo, it makes me melt every time I listen to it! |

Heroes:My three pages would not be the same without the help of my very special web artist friend Nicholas of NicoOptical, who has created backgrounds, banners etc for me (often without having to be asked) and is an absolute star, and a very special friend. Thank you Nic ... you know how much I appreciate what you do, and your friendship.Ckeck out these guys ... they are personal friends of mine and their designs are awesome!!! If you can get to one of their *Show of Fashion* productions you will be astounded ..... it is not your average Fashion Show, and they are not your average Fashion Designers !!!! |
