Formerly known as The Moonhangers & Chili Cold Blood, BLOOD CHILI RECORDS PRESENTS:...BLOOD COUNTRY. The two bands with the same members have released seven records to date. Chili Cold Blood, the darker more raucous side of the two, released five albums in the states (RNRMF, Jesus' Comin, RNRMF Redux, Walter Daniels w/CCB, and Lips) and overseas (RNRMF Redux); while The Moonhangers (outlaw country) enjoyed multi-star reviews of their two albums (Homegrown and The Last of the New York Sessions). At this point, both bands have met at the center of the BCR spectrum. Rest assured friends, the music from both sides will remain a part of the sound. The new merge will actually give resurgence to the old school bluesy sounds of Chili Cold Blood, keeping in tow the more rockin' outlaw country ala Rolling Stones side of The Moonhangers, while introducing a new dark southern hybrid. BLOOD COUNTRY is the new southern rock, the new Texas roadhouse. It's where southern music culminates. Where a fella throws back some whiskey with an outlaw babe hangin on a beltloop, while the jukebox vibrates the walls with loud rippin guitars and songs about money lost, land taken, and love drained. Where that southern howl lays flat your burdens, and somehow sends all your troubles scurryin' on their way...Hit me again bartender...yeah. BLOOD COUNTRY...ladies and gentlemen.
