| A fine estate 2004 Luca e Dario, rispettivamente bassista e chitarrista degli ormai sciolti Sbronzi di Riace, si incontrano alla città della musica con Loris, batterista con esperienze in svariati gruppi hard rock e metal. Il trio trova da subito una buona intesa, unendo le influenze punk rock di Luca e quelle stoner grunge di Dario con "l'attitudine metallara" di Loris.Dopo un breve periodo di rodaggio con diverse cover, (svariando dai Motorhead ai Nirvana), viene alla luce il primo demo della band, contenente 6 pezzi.L'attività live del gruppo prosegue tra feste della birra nell'entroterra ligure e serate nei locali del centro storico di Genova, fino alla partecipazione al concorso Emergenza Festival 2006, con un buon seguito di pubblico e la terza posizione alla finale regionale.Più o meno in concomitanza con l'attività live (che ha visto anche una serata al Karma Bar di Saint Vincent) vi è la registrazione di un nuovo demo con quattro pezzi più uno rivisitato. Attualmente sono pronte altre sei nuove canzoni, che verranno incluse nel nuovo cd non appena il budget lo consentirà. Almost at the end of the 2004 summer Dario, guitar player and singer with strong grunge and stoner influences, and Luca, true punk bass player, met Loris a drummer with a past in many metal bands. Our three guys build up an explosive mix bringing together their past musical experiences. After a few months the Chemical Christ release a six tracks demo including just a few of their new songs. In the meantime they take on a series of live performances from open air festivals to gigs in Genoa, their hometown. Taking part at the “Emergenza Festival” earns them the third place and wins them a greater number of fans. A few months later after a live gig at the Karma bar in Saint Vincent, Val d’Aosta, the band decides to record a new demo with four new tracks and an older one. Now six more new tracks are ready to be recorded as soon as possible.
