| "Organic Hip Hop is my Medicine" I'm hailing from the eastcoast (Maryland to be exact). I've been in LA for seven years now, via NYC (Brooklyn to be exact, Bed Stuy to be more exact), where I lived for two years. I've been a music lover all my life and started studying jazz sax at age 12. Early influences range from Charlie Parker & Gerry Mulligan, to Special Ed and RUN DMC, to A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, to Prince and Michael Jackson, to Frankie Beverly and Maze and Bill Withers, to Robert Nesta Marley and Peter Tosh, to name a few. I'm here to pursue my dreams and to become a working artist. Catch me on the new Lyricst Lounge mixtape called The Legendary Lyricist Lounge International Mixtape Series Vol. 1, among others. My EP's 'FarEye Vision' [E Reece Music (ASCAP), 2004] and 'Next Up' [E Reece Music (ASCAP), 2006] are available here and at CD Baby , along with my LP 'A New Breed' [E Reece Music (ASCAP), 2007]. My music has been licensed to film and tv shows, and has been included on video games and compilation projects. In between music gigs I also do a little acting and modeling. I've done many many fashion shows and print ads, a few commercials, a book cover or two, an indy movie "Claims," and you may have seen me in Floetry's video for "Say Yes" (I'm the gentleman in the subway scene, ya heard!). Me and my band "Core Elements" can be seen around town, doing the damn thang like it should be done. Taking hip hop's vibe back to its foundation, when it was fun and not so much about how much money you had in your pockets or how many girls you had. I gotta do things for the little ones to look up to and be a positive influence on the community and in the world.
