TwistedSiblings.com - Twisted MySpace layouts & stickers! ' Was Formed in 1988. The original members consisted of "The Twins", Glenn,(lead guitar,songwriter),and Cliff"ZEEK"(Bass/VOX/songwriter),McLarnon,Dominick "Arthur"on drums and Johnny"ROTTEN"Reilley playing rhythm guitar, made up the "ORIGINAL NERVOUS WRECK". While living in Ojai/Ventura & L.A. California,Glenn and Cliff Joined/started up the band'COVER-UP'in 1986.With Original drummer Brian Culbertson,and Bill Tabbert (keys,VOX)Managed By Mike Culbertson.It Started out as a 'Garage/Cover band. Eventualy,Cliff and Glenn moved back to their "old stomping grounds"In Da Bronx, N.Y.C. In 1988. Cliff and Glenn Worked at Sam Ash Music on 48th St.& Broadway,in N.Y.C. While there they hooked up with/became freinds with everybody and anybody in the music scene/industry. They Met Drummers, Abbott Finkle,& Danny "The dope". But wound up Meeting/sticking with Dominick "Arthur",and 'Hot shot' Guitarist Johnny "Rotten" Reilley. Our first show ever was at The 'CRAZY HORSE",in New Rochelle,1988.ACE FRIHELY "blessed" us with his presence and played a few songs.NERVOUS WRECK,There-after,played at local pubs;GILLESPIES, MILLTOWN LOUNGE, STREETS, MARTY AND LENNY"S,THE ROCKER ROOM,DUDLEY'S,and CAFE' CAZ,(among many other "Local"venues,In Da Bronx/NYC,Westchester-Yonkers/New Rochelle/White Plains). NERVOUS WRECK became "KINDA"the house band at the LOW DOWN in Mt.Vernon,(R.I.P. Henry) performing originals and covers.We Rehursed at a few places like,MULTI SOUND STUDIOS In Queens(Miss that Place),MUZIC UNLIMITED(Hey Richie),PRIME TIME STUDIOS(Hey Tarik),and THE MUSIC BUILDING,BOO STUDIOS,N.Y.C. Cliff "Zeke" did "Most" vocals/Writing. Sometimes switching singers,W/ J.C. Viper & Lou Cortez. Filling in on occasion for Johnny "Rotten",on guitar @ THE RITZ,was Mike Puma.After I.C.M. took us under their wing, We opened up/headlined a few tours with bands such as,MOTORHEAD,GBH,TYPE "O" NEGATIVE,SKYITZO,CRO-MAGS,DR.KNOW,45 GRAVE,M.O.D., SMOKESCREEN,DEMOLITION HAMMER,NUCLEAR ASSAULT, DRI,SCATTERBRAINS, MUCKY PUP, BIOHAZARD, BROOM HILDA, WRETCHED WHORE, LIFE OF AGONY,MEAN STREAK, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES,THE GREAT KAT,CYCLE SLUTS FROM HELL,OVER KILL,DEATH ANGEL,KISS ARMY,DAMN CHEETA,WARGASM,EXODUS,ANNIHILLATOR, and much more, at other venues, such as THE RITZ, CBGB's, L'AMOUR'East/West,RAW,THE LIMELIGHT,KAT CLUB,SPIRAL BAR,KENNY'S CASTAWAYS,DON HILLS,THE BLACK THORN,TRAIN DEPOT,among Others;Toured a bit.Recorded 5 Demos/albums.Did a Compilation C.D. For "BRIAN CANNON"and his Yonkers "UPPER CRUST CREW"and Did an M.T.V. "HEADBANGERS BALL"FEST". We kinda"Fell apart"when the whole grunge scene came into play,The tail end Of metal,(Most of you know What We mean...)And we all went our "separate" ways.Dominic and Cliff worked on a project called "Peace Revolver"With singer "Dave Dresend",and Mingo Cachonez"on Guitar.We played a few shows,and was signed to"SUBMERST AILIEN RECORDS"but it was'nt the same w/o the original fellas.We were on top of "our own little Fantacy world" from 1988-1998.We had a great time,(Great memories,from the brain cells that are left;)Thats all what mattered to us.We just love playing,and the whole Metal scene.We were ready,just recently,to start back again,original lineup,new equipment,ect,Under the name "WRECKED",or"PEACE REVOLVER"Which we were gonna change our name to,And are legal trade mark to us(Aside,We were beaten to the punch When another band,later had A legal Copy Right for the name"Nervous Wreck"We didn't know about)...untill a horrific tragedy happened.Our Guitarist,"Twin Glenn Mclarnon"Died in his sleep,from a massive Heart Attack/Sleep apnia, on Mar.9th 2007.We cant replace him,but have a few guys in mind to "Fill in"He wouldn't want us to stop playing,and we wont",and were gonna give it another shot,for him,And for all of you!Thank you All!
