I'd like to meet:few words about Philip BouraimisBorn in Athens, Greece on June 17th, 1978. Turned in to art from a very young age. He studied music on stringed instruments with unconditional love on double bass. He also learned guitar, lute, bouzouki, traditional percussion and oud. He studied interior decoration and architectural/ industrial design at “Akto College” in Athens, and studies in “Academia due belle art” in Milan. He worked for seven years in the largest architectural companies in Athens. He studied film and television studies at “Akmi College” in Athens. As a student of an independent theatre workshop in Athens, takes acting classes from Mr. Yiannis Synaidis. He has performed in 5 theatrical plays, directed by Yiannis Synaidis and he has directed the lighting for numerous theatrical plays in Athens. He is composing music for theatrical plays and short films for the past three years. He also formed the band “Aithali”, where composes both traditional and ethnic jazz music and the theatrical team A-psema-ksis, where he directs bar theatres and theatrical plays. He has worked in Advertising, in television and in Greek movies, while he owns a pre-post- production studio with Costas Daskaleas, in which he has edited numerous short films, documentaries, TV spots and video clips. He is assistant director of Iannis Smaragdis for his new feature film, «El Greco». He filmed with Eftimios Hatzis, the documentary for “The making of El Greco film”. In collaboration with Le Spot productions and director mr. Christos Michalopoulos as an ass. Director, in commercials for television and cinema. He is directing the TV coocking show “Nistiko Arkoudi” (“Hungry Bear”) with Stathis Panagiotopoulos and Dimitris Starovas for the 2007-8 season, for the NET chanell.
