Influences: Far too much to list here but my tastes range from Beethoven and Grieg, to Deep Purple and Uriah Heep, to Mythos and Incendio, to Chic Corea and Dream Theatre. Cirque Du Soleil composers Rene Dupere and Benoit Jutras too! As movie composers go, I would have to say Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Steve Jablonsky, Philip Glass, Pieter Bourke, Lisa Gerrard, Richard Bellis and Mike Patti. To those interested in film composition, read this book before you do anything: "The Emerging Film Composer" by Richard Bellis. Fantastic insight into the business and covers many topics I had not considered! Available at http://www.richardbellis.com/.
