| WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL NICK PICANO MYSPACE PAGE!
My name is Nick Picano. There is one word that best describes my life: MUSIC. I am currently a Solo Artist in search of musicians to create an Original/Cover band near Hartford, CT. I was previously the Front Man for a band named Driven and prior to that, 2 short-lived bands named Money Shot and Solder. I was also a runner-up for the 96.5 TIC FM "Connecticut IDOL" Competitions. I quickly became one of 4 finalists and was casted votes online at TIC's website. I sang Edwin McCain's first Hit Song "I'll Be" and got quite the applause thereafter. That was the highlight of my youth before I became involved in singing full time. I am a Writer; I consider myself a Lyricist and a Poet with 3 major goals in my life: fulfill my vows to my lovely wife, Alyin, be the best father I can be for our 1 year old son, Kevin and become a successful Musician before i shrivel up and croak. LOL! I am a natural born singer with a strong voice and energetic stage presence. I have been singing for 10+ years now and have a magnetic attraction to live performance. I have recorded a few albums in studios such as Blackbird Studios in Cromwell, CT. and Trod Nossell Studios in Wallingford, CT. I have many Original songs, write regularly and can sing hundreds of Cover songs to save my life. I named my last Cover band DRIVEN because I have been passionately and emotionally driven to perform for quite a long time. I am in search of a fresh group of musicians or even a preformed band in need of a Front Man. As long as I have the freedom to write and sing my own lyrics as well as yours, I'm game. I am 30 years old, athletic in build and don't mind breaking a sweat. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make my dream of becoming a Successful Vocalist come true.
