So It eveolved from eyes to cat eyes then Fox eyes to RedFox.Flash forward to the future around 1999-2000 I was a paranoid, Skunk fuelled emotionally scarred angry new Father of two with two different chicks (although the 2nd I would find out about years later but that's another story)dagger carrying 20 year old South London kid breaking into the music industry. After meeting my Rasta cousins Jammer who is now a household name 1 up fam and D-Nice frome Homegrown at an event I started working with Bull (O.G. Bull wha blow) who used to manage London Posse and was running a small distibution company in East London.Don't you think it's funny how real connect with real, later went to find out he new a lot of my parents peeps as well I AM GENERATIONS DEEP IN THIS STREET SHIT, IT IS WHAT IT IS!! my pops is Digital my Uncle is STONE, older brixton man know who that is!!This was the Truman Brewery where it had Homegrown with D-Nice, Jammer,Babs the homegrown chart and what not, Ray Keith had his studio, Domonic Spread Luv, Millenium Distribution, a radio station, everyone came through, all Horror FM, So Solid, Lenny D-Ice, 57th Dynasty, Rodney P, Johnny Cash, that's basically how East took over music because everyting was really ran from East London on a CORPORATE level.Well back to how RedFox became Fokz Myth, Around 01 I had started to establish my self in the industry, working in distribution with countless UK artists, I would get the most unheard of UK artists and ring up record stores around the country pushing there music and selling it to them, this was my 1st proper job and I thank Bull for this as it would later give me a way out of street life and am now eternally greatfull to him and bless to his family, I now make a good living off sales and set up my own sales company.At the time though I was not making no real money had to hustle on the side, and would come back home to my reality, my Deptford Estate where child hood friends were dropping like flies, to jail, crack or the coffin. Then come in and see how certain rappers moved different, and were frontin like we cool, but like I said real know real we were NOT COOL. I started hearing about certain people chatting my name and what not, but never shit to my face I'm a big guy and won't back down do your reasearch who I had a scuff then a big falling out with.No lie I'm blazing an O a week and was ALWAYS STRAPPED-Tell me I'm lying anyone!!! instead of making a couple calls, I took it like, if you wahn chat like gal and hate, then al your doing is making me more known and creating to my name, so I become a myth an urban ledgend so took it like yeah I'm Fokz, Fokz the myth and if you wanna know bout me ask and hear it from me and woah I got storiesThe definition of Platinum tears is that as platinum is the rarest form of metal, it is a metaphor stating that where we are from we are taught from an early age to be tough, be thugs, and be gangsters as the majority of our role models sell us into that ideology. To shed a tear becomes impossible and to go against what we are taught and raised, but the rarest tears must be shed to complete the evolution from boy to man, thus Platinum Tears.Platinum Tears Ltd www.platinum-mi.com is our story our fight, coming from a council flat to an international mobile content website and recognised company.
