| Remixx was formed by the idea of Michelle Brooks, to get young kids girls and boys to form a go-go band. Lawrence Johnson took the idea with Kenneth D. Payne to manage this group. Who brought in Robert Johnson to help manage, but the group broke up shortly thereafter. Kenneth D. Payne then brought in Charles Stroud Jr. to Lawrence Johnson and the band started up once again, but then this project failed also. So Lawrence Johnson cousin Ken-Ken told him about a man named Rodney Freeman who was a Deacon and had a studio in his basement. So Lawrence Johnson and Robert Johnson met Rodney Freeman and Remixx was here to stay, we became a full fledge gospel go-go band and we changed our name to Remixx Ensemble in which today we are with ten members and with love for our Holy God. P.S. South East DC Remixx Ensemble is a young but mature up and coming band that is spiritually motivated by the word of God. Our purpose is to take back what satan has stolen from us, our (youth). We are a hard go-go sound mixed with smooth grooves. We are not here trying to decieve anyone we mean what we say about peace, love, happiness and our Father God. So my young people...stop killing one another, stop teen pregnancy, protect yourselves from H.I.V. & AIDS, and as Remixx would say..."Keep on shining" Nothing is too big and nothing too small for us because we are humble. So invite us into your house we are willing to travel. We are looking forward to visiting many churches, temples, tabernacles and etc, to share our music Ministry with the world. We are located in S.E. Washington DC ({PLAYERS}) NEEDED!!
