My name is Sol Hess Sol Hess is my name I am a London-born video-artist/director/comedian composer and singer living in France. As you can see, this is my MySpaceMusic page. As a composer I have mainly composed for my film-work. The music Inspire Tousse Expire is a piece composed for a film in progress. Hereby, you have a computer played version of the score, and a part of it's recorded version with Denis Gouzil on guitar and Hélion Klein on vocals. As a singer and musician, I sing, scream and make weird, and supposedly wild sounds, recently with the Abracadaband. My stage characters have been described as "... performances in themselves!"... whereas I have been qualified of being "...some kind of Psychadelic Crooner"! I am currently working as a guitarist on Laurent Rogero's Le Cocu Magnifique by Fernand Crommelynck, alongside Denis Gouzil, and the Cie Anamorphose, show in which my diverse tools blend into one, this on stage, at all times... Also as a video-artist on Anny Leeman's Chansons de Geste alongside Anny Leeman, dancer Gilles Estran and musician Fred Cazaux... Also a part of the Cie Fracas' Fanfreefare, the world's most out of tuned brassband... Meanwhile... I am working on a MySpaceFilm page, some extracts from my video work can be seen here in the mean time... Extract film "Inspire Tousse Expire" As a video-artist and film director, I have directed fiction and documentary and have also designed and created video work for stage scenographies for theatre, music shows, and dance performances. La majorité de mes compositions sont déstinées à mes films. Le morceau Inspire Tousse Expire est une partition composée pour un film. Vous l'avez ici jouée par un logiciel. et une partie de sa version enregistrée avec Denis Gouzil à la guitare, et Hélion Klein au chant. En tant que chanteur et musicien, je suis un adepte du hurlement, du son incompréhensible, soi-disant "...étrange, à l'état sauvage et décalé", choses pratiqués plus recemment avec l'Abracadaband. Sur scène mes personnages ont été décrits comme des "...performances en soi..." alors qu'on me qualifie comme étant "...une sorte de Crooner Psychadelique"!
