Blessed with the opportunity to work in TV AND RADIO simultaneously within the country’s THIRD LARGEST MARKET, KENO (a.k.a. K-GEE) is only beginning to live his dream! KENO currently works with Power 92 as an On-Air Personality, WYCC-TV20 as an Associate Producer/Production Assistant, & with WYCA Rejoice 102.3 FM as a Board Op./Producer. (Yes, he must have a lil Jamaican in his blood… “Lawd Ham Mercy!” LOL) KENO is one of Chicago’s premiere Holy Hip Hop radio personalities. Fueled by a love for good music and primarily a passion to share Christ, he is on a mission to “change the game”. He desires to expose people to the variety Gospel music has to offer, “although they are foundational components that are still VERY relevant & necessary, I want people to know and enjoy the fact that Gospel music is more than just choirs and quartets”, he says. Having a heart for today’s youth, KENO wants to see all who are apart of and/or being affected by Hip Hop Culture presented with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to his work in TV and radio, KENO is a licensed minister and a member of Nehemiah Urban Church Ministries. He often dj’s or hosts skating parties, concerts, youth events, proms, bar-mitzvahs (LOL Not really but it sounds good), etc. KENO is known as a cool, laid-back, fun loving, very friendly individual who loves people. A graduate of Kennedy King College’s TV/Radio broadcasting program & former host of "Street Sermonz w/ K-GEE & Meechie" on WKKC, KENO hopes to soon land a full time position in broadcasting that will allow him to live comfortably and have a career doing what he loves.
