Biography/Biografia The band was formed in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1999. Mixing from the beginning metal, punk, and rock tendencies to create a strong and powerful sound with melodic atmospheres. After three singles released in Colombia Vulnerable (2000), Guilty (2002) and Begin (2003) Injury released in September 2004 its first album called No Promises Made. No Promises Made was reviewed by the critics as one of the best rock albums of the year in Colombia. With two singles on Colombian radio, Begin and Fighting Over Me, Injury was nominated for Best Metal Act by two of the most important music awards in the country Much Music Awards and Shock Magazine Awards, winning the Shock Magazine award in 2005. In addition to many other venues, Injury performed in three Latin-American Rock al Parque Festivals, with bands such as Molotov, Catupecu Machu, Resorte, and Roby Draco. In 2006 Injury released two new singles on MySpace.com Euphoria and Closer to Hell. The band has relocated to New York in order to build its American audience and seek recognition from the American entertainment business and music critics. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// /////////////////////////////////// Injury banda bogotana formada en 1999 por Felipe Mejia, Julio Ortiz, Miguel Jimenez, Daniel Alvarez y Titi Ortiz, mezcla desde sus inicios tendencias de el metal mezcladas con punk y grunge, creando una atmosfera agresiva que a su vez es meldica y digerible, despues de tres sencillos sacados al mercado con el cual se empieza a hacer un nombre en la escena bogotana y colombiana Vulnerable(2001) y Begin(2003), para el 2004 saca su primer largaduracin llamado No Promises Made el cual es catalogado como uno de los mejores discos del el 2004 de el genero en Colombia, de este disco sacamos los exitos Begin y Fighting over me el cual fue presentado en los diez aos de l festival Rock al Parque 2005(tercer Rock al Parque de la banda), para el 2005 es nominado como mejor video Nu Metal por el programa Mucha Musica, junto a bandas como Koyi K Utho y Raiz, es escogido por el IDCT como la mejor banda para el festival Rock al Parque 2005 y gana el premio Shock a mejor banda metal del 2005. Para principios de este 2006 Injury esta promocionando sus 2 nuevos sencillos Euphoria y Closer to Hell y se encuentra radicada en al ciudad de Nueva York realizando la produccin de su segundo disco llamado tambin Closer to Hell, esperando la respuesta nacional e internacional a su nuevo trabajo discogrfico.
