| I put pair of headsets on and playing in them was Mississippi Fred McDowell....one man, one guitar. The bass the rhythm and the leads were three men in his two hands. It fucked me up good. I have spent every moment since, trying to climb that polyrythmic mountain. Listening to R.L Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, T-Model Ford, Mississippi Fred and too many more to mention.
My drummer and I started this two piece in my small basement bedroom, going for it and we've been going for it ever since. Hunting down our heroes in Mississippi, T-model,Burnsides and Kimbroughs. This has been one hell of a ride and it just keeps goin.
