-Maksolute Maksolute: The Live JukeBox By lisa cafiero Coming from the streets of Buena Park, CA Matt Easton is a former breakdancer captivated by the sounds of Jungle music and thirsting for new beats. His talent for interlacing rhythms gave birth to one of the most fluid and off the cuff DJ Masters, Maksolute. He started his journey by joining up with a group called AcropolisRPM that helped pave his way towards his dreams and get his feet wet in the world of mixing melodies. After being mentored by DJ Kleen Kutt and Jason A, he started his quest to be a “crowd rocker” with house parties which branched to being a regular at College Circuits, Clubs, and now Concert Halls. Traditionally using vinyl records and keeping the nostalgic charm of the old school feel, Maksolute incorporates Hip Hop, Raggae Tones, Dance Hall, Funk, Old School Hip-Hop, and even an oldie but goodie, Al Green. “You never know what you are going to get” with his free-flowing beats that keep you anticipating what is to come. He believes that being a DJ is “being able to rock your crowd “ which he does with effortless skill. By day, Matt Easton, is a electrical test engineer working on military aircraft. Using his mathematical dexterity of an engineer he intertwines his “ear” for perfectly placing the most imperfect sound rhythms together. Along with being a DJ Instructor in Dana Point, CA, (where he teaches the fundamentals of DJ mixing & History) he is an independent producer at KTST FM Radio, and the owner of Field of Dreams Studio . Matt works alongside The Woosh and Genius (posing a triple threat : Rapper, Producer, DJ) creating Money Mob Entertainment. His flair for spinning records can be enjoyed at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, headlining New Years at Anaheim Convention Center, and even Fraternity Rush Week at your local college. All in all, “giving back to the fans” is his personal goal while performing as a DJ. And that is something that only happens when you get the absolute unforgettable experience of Maksolute.
