| Néstor Gómez Saravia es un músico autodidacta, nacido en Buenos Aires , Argentina.Desde temprana edad se identificó y sintió atracción por los temas relacionados con la India y el Hinduismo; especialmente por la música pero fueron los instrumentos occidentales como el bajo y la guitarra los primeros en tocar. Desde el año 1992 ejecuta el Sitar y el Armonio. En los años 1996 y 1997 tuvo la oportunidad de viajar a India en donde además de nutrirse del espiritu local tuvo la oportunidad de adquirir instrumentos que le permitieron desarrollar su personal estilo ya que si bien ha escuchado a músicos tradicionales, no posee escuela alguna porque nunca ha estudiado música y demuestra que para el arte, en este caso la música, se nace y no se puede adquirir creatividad mediante conocimientos intelectuales y bibliograficos y aunque las técnicas ayudan no permiten ser creativos.En el año 2005 el embajador de la India en Argentina, Shri Pramathesh Rath , definió su música como una excelente muestra de la fusión de ambas culturas; India y Occidental.Regarding his music, in December 2005 Shri Pramatehesh Rath, ambassador of India in Argentina, said " Good music is acknowledged universally and your fusion of Indian and Western music is an excellent attemp in bringing together the best of two cultures" | |
