My name is Matthew Allan Pekeur Harris. Matthew has a Hebrew origin and means "Gift of God". Allan is my uncle's name. It is Celtic for "Rock".
Pekeur is my mom's maiden name (it's French). Harris is my dad's name. It's Scottish and Welsh.My names say a lot about who I am.
They tell you that I was raised a Christian.
That's right, I'm a pastor's son. I can't run from it even though I've tried for most of my life lol.
I know what my rock is; what my foundation is.
With my blended ethnicities(French, Dutch, Malay, African, Bantu, & Indian at last count) what my surnames should tell you is that my forefathers and mothers were slaves who adopted new names as they yearned for identity in this strange new land of oppression.
