Our mission at Uncharted Sounds Inc. has a two fold objective: First, is to tap into the young minds of today and tomorrow by empowering them to research the trends and themes that are prevalent in the Canadian Music industry’s undiscovered musical talents. Second, is unveiling undiscovered Canadian musical talent in all genres, through the means of the student’s written reviews on unconventional/alternative music venues that would normally not be published in a high profile or mainstream music magazine or web based publication.Our internship program at Uncharted Sounds Inc. will offer motivated high school and post secondary students who are passionate about media literacy/journalism, a forum to gain real business experience by empowering them to analyze the music industry through various periodicals and write about them outside the classroom. All original articles that will be composed and written by the students will be submitted and available on the internet as a monthly magazine publication at www.unchartedsounds.com.A final thought… There is an abundance of under-represented Canadian musical talent that are struggling with the high cost of self promotional marketing and recording production. Unchartedsounds.com will give music artist a chance to showcase their music and the viewing audience to discover their talent. Heard a CD, a song on the radio, a cool tune on the web that might of captured your attention? Let us know about it. We’re always looking for great new sounds. Seen a show, what about an awesome music video ? Let us know about it. We want to know what you think about today’s Canadian talent. With new music products hitting the market everyday, who better than you to tell us how they really work? Have a favourite book? Read a great short story? We want you to tell us about it. Uncharted Sounds Inc. will offer motivated high school and post secondary students a forum to gain real business experience in the competitive media journalism industry. All original articles that will be composed and written by the students will be submitted and available on the internet in a monthly magazine publication at www.unchartedsounds.com.
