Media and Entertainment Company main goal is to create cultural peace communication projects in the field of music and media. Specialized on Documentary’s, CD’s, Compilations, DVD’s, Events, Cultural Peace Network... Music 4 Peace started to attend international attention by supporting events as the United Nation's "No Excuse Concert" in New York in 2004, relating to the Millennium Development Goals, supporting the world-beat group 1001 WAYS attending Asia's largest World Performing Arts Festival in Pakistan and celebrating Gandhi’s 100 years of Non-violence with Dr. Arun Gandhi, the grandson of the late Mahatma, at the Earthdance California 2006, as well as the presentation of 30 Days of Peace and The Gandhi Tour at the world’s largest music industry fair MIDEM 2007 Cannes / France. www.music4peace.com "Be the change you wish to see in the world" (Mahatma Gandhi) The Gandhi Tour the touring Music Festival for Peace, unites Artists (World-music, Pop, Fusions and DJ's...) and Charity Organizations to stop hunger and promote nonviolence among all generations. The mission of the tour is to promote non-violence and peace among all generations, cultures and religions and to highlight "the global need to eliminate hunger". Including local artists as well as international stars, the Gandhi Tour is a firework of music & messages that unites artists from different cultures and styles. Every event features special guest speakers, spreading awareness about non-violence and peace. At the launch event 15.Sept. 2006 one of the highlight's of the Int. Earthdance Peace Festival California, the speech was given by Arun Gandhi , the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, celebrating Gandhi's "Satyagraha, 100 Years of Nonviolence". Inclouded was as well 1001 Ways , the special world-fusion band, with there multi-media program "Gandhi" including original audio and film footages of Mahatma Gandhi.
