I knew nothing whatsoever about making beats but we needed them and didn’t have the money to buy some. So I started asking some cats "n the know"what I could make beats with and eventually Kalligraphy, an emcee and friend of mine, gave me a copy of the throw back fruityloops! I started messin with it and it wasn’t easy for me at first. I almost gave up in frustration but the holyspirit began to reveal to me secrets of the craft. I’ve been making beats ever since then and I’m always growing and learning and eager for knowledge. Knowledge is power, and even God said that a reason for his people perishing was the lack of knowledge, so I’m gettin it however I can, even before college! I’m never into making what "people" like. I just make what I see. I look for inovative ways to make musical statements and I try to make each beat sound different. I don’t stick to one genre either. I’m doin hip hop, R&B, Neo Soul, pop,and more right now, and I even want to learn how to produce rock.I’m a business man now, and I refuse to work with shady people.I stay around educated and wise cats who have my back so I can learn from them also. It ain’t about money, fame, or clients.
