| SNAKE MOUNTAIN PRODUCTIONS is the brain child of director Liam Shorrock. The company came into existence whilst he was working on his short film "In The Shadows". He was soon joined by two eager young film makers; Cameron Kirton and Mike Dixon. Together they established Snake Mountain Productions as a film company specialising in the Horror genre. The companies mission statement is: "To create high quality, low budget films within the horror genre. Whilst promoting low budget independent filmmaking and supporting other talented young filmmakers" "IN THE SHADOWS" - is the premiere short to be put into production from this new and excitng fledgling production company. The Script comes from the genius but twisted imaginings of Liam Shorrock; who will take directing duties on the film. The Script is an homage to the glory days of 80's independent horror films, and is set to establish Snake Mountain Productions an emerging force within independent cinema. More details on the production will be made available in time. CAMERON KIRTON– 24, Completed a HND in Media Performance before going on to study Digital Filmmaking at the SAE Institute in London. Although a talented all round performer he has found that his passions lie within the film production industry. Cameron’s first short film outside of education; “Liam Is…”; went to several international film festivals were it was warmly received. He has several short film scripts ready to roll, and recently completed a feature length film script with his company Cerebro Films. Cameron plans on spending the 2007 collaborating with Liam and Mike on many more short film projects LIAM SHORROCK– 22, finishing a BA(Hons) Moving Image degree at the University of Central Lancashire, after switching from a BSc in Marine Biology at the University of Portsmouth having discovered where his true passion lies; film production. Liam as a child grew up watching horror films and reading Fangoria magazine. This has helped with inspiring him to become a horror writer/director. Liam has made over 10 short films and documentaries, with varying roles from runner to cinematographer to director. Liam also worked as a studio runner on the “Russell Brand Show” at the end of 2006. He plans to go on to further study in cinematography/direction at MA level. MIKE DIXON– 25, finishing a BA(Hons) Audio Visual Media at the University of Central Lancashire. Mike has a passion for horror films and excels as a short film writer/director within the genre. He has worked on several short film projects and is planning to work on a feature length production under his own company Mycho Pictures in the summer.
