| Young people matter (YPM) is a voluntary organization set up by young adults with the goal to educate, support, guide and inform young people about the issues that may concern them.YPM is dedicated to fully working with all young people targeting those between the ages of 10-21 however mainly focusing on those between 14-18. As a team YPM aim to work closely with individuals on a one-to-one basis to help young people reach their full potential in life. YPM will provide a number of services for young people starting in Lambeth with a five-week sexual health and relationship programme. As a team we will write and deliver projects on issues such as drug awareness, gang culture, gun crime to name but a few.As an organisation, we believe that every young person matters and that in order to work with young people their individual needs must be identified first. Every young person is unique, so within our workshops we aim to meet individual needs. Workshops are designed to inform, give advice, guide, while allowing young people to express themselves and their views through discussions.YPM have taken the responsibility to deal with the misconceptions and myths surrounding various issues effecting young people today.
