I'd like to meet:MATTHEW W. AUER 1982-2006 This is for a great friend/brother of mine that recently passed away, people say there is a reason for everything, i used to think that was true, until Matt was struck by an impatient 70 year old piece of shit that couldnt wait 5 seconds to drive into a bar's parking lot. Matt rode his bike pass a yellow light where 3 cars were waiting for him to pass the light so they can turn, but the 4th car who couldnt wait decided to drive onto the other side of the road to make a left turn, matt had a window of 3 seconds to react, in the face a death u need 3 seconds to realize what is going on and shake off the shock, if he had just 2 more seconds he could've been alive. We were supposed to be grumpy old men together and share stories of our jobs on the force and who we chased down. We were in the marines together, we fought in iraq, I visited his family like if they were my own. I even went to hang with him for new years. little did i know that it would be his last new years. So i dont believe that bull shit that there is a reason for his death or that god wanted him up there or that it was his time, he was fucking 24 years old, he had plenty time left! The only guy i know for a fact wouldnt do anything wrong except drink and have fun. So if god can spare a drunk driver from dieing after he killed an entire family what fuckin reason does he have not sparing a 24 year old war vet who just wanted to visit his grandmother and someday marry a girl he loves and have kids!? Rest in peace brother,now you dont have to deal with problems this fucked up world has. If there is such a reason why you died, then i wont stop until i find it. |
