The Viscera Film Festival is an online festival for films directed and produced by women. Viscera promotes women lead productions by giving awards, promotion, and distribution. The Viscera Series Award, a monetary prize specifically designed for women only productions will be given to one filmmaker. SUBMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. Transgendered women or those who identify strongly with the female gender are encouraged to apply.TCM also holds annual Chainsaw Mafia Film Festivals in which men and women are encouraged to enter! AWARDS * Distribution: All winners of Viscera will have their work placed on the Viscera Series DVD which will be distributed through TCM via internet. * Festival Screening: Various film festivals are teaming up with the Chainsaw Mafia, picking the Viscera film of their choice to play at their next festival. * Marketing/Promotion: Production companies, horror based websites, magazines, and forums are marketing Viscera through cross promotion. Each Artist will be highlighted as a Viscera Women, with a bio, pic, and contact information on The Chainsaw Mafia. Artist’s films and info will be featured on thechainsawmafia.com indefinitely. * Prizes: The Viscera Series Award of $200 will go to one winner wherein the production consisted completely of the female gender. Various Sponsors are donating prizes to winners of Viscera. Prizes will be announced continuously. SPONSORS These sponsors support Viscera and the Chainsaw Mafia's mission.
