Another chapter of the ongoing story about Jørn Hoel unfolds... Jørn Hoel is back with a new album "På Grunn Av Dæ" and it is considered by many as his best studio-album ever. "På Grunn Av Dæ" was released Oct.10, 2007 and is Jørn Hoels 10. studio album. A Playground Music release recorded in WH Studio in Oslo. Playground and WH Studio continue to cooperate on an independent basis and they represent nothing but high quality-music. This album is no exception. Handcrafted to the bone, with Norway's finest, top-shelf musicians, Jørn convincingly guide us through the everlasting contrasts of life and it's eternal, re-appearing subject; LOVE - Served on a bed of blues-marinade, pop-soul grooves, true Jørn Hoel style, topped with a brand-new recipe of soul mixture with a hint of ballads and a surprise duet on the side. Hoel is constantly renewing his sound and although he still pays great respect to his musical roots he is sufficiently contemptuous to the sound and traditions to cross a few boundaries and make new, exiting and very refreshing musical crossovers. This time around he brought some friends with him to add a different hue to an already picture perfect album. Tungtvann's JØRG1 shoot sparks and spike this musically long-drink.
