| I am raising money with a one off singular event and giving my car a paint job of the individual signatures of supporters making my NZV8 Ute – the people’s race-car. If you Drink & Drive - you are a BLOODY IDIOT Don't try and figure me out in one glance - there are way too many elements to me me when i worked for BP NZ I love motorsport (obviously), Rugby (go THE CHIEFS, THE BLUES, THE ALL BLACKS, Rugby League, MotoCross (Cody Cooper, Bubba Stewart, Chad Reed), Free-Style Moto, My favourite flower is the Lilly, I love being pampered so would include Spa Days, Hair Salons, Reading (yes i am a Library Geek), Shopping (whether clothes, make-up, shoes and yes i even LOVE Grocery Shopping each week and treat it like an outing making the effort to go to a different supermarket each week), Scuba Diving (has to be warm though as i hate those thick as diving suits for cold diving), snorkelling (Fiji was great for that), spear fishing, drinking Beer (Waikato, Stella and Budweiser), Wineries (NZ is great for these!), Barbeques (New Zealand sausages wrapped in good old fashioned white bread, onions and tomato sauce is a weakness for me everytime!), love cheese (colby), Wine (i'm a riesling and sav blanc fan when it comes to my white's and love a merlot with a steak, and champagne with the strawberries is a treat), Tequilla (got to add lemons and salt to the supermarket trolley for this), Spaghetti on Toast (yes with the grated colby cheese), (Running (yes exercise is important unfortunately), I love nature and the outdoors, extreme sports, my baby, movies (comedy - no sci~fi), myspace (and of course my friends as it wouldnt be the same without you ~ i sence a tear or two!), working, driving, a challenge is always fun, friends (they are like bras - close to your heart and gives you a good lift when you need it, singing (although i may add i am no christina aguilera, ROVE LIVE (so glad to have you back for WHAT THE???!!!), Laughing (except i will admit sometimes i get carried away and dont know how to stop - good when you are in the comfort of your home - & then bad when you are in a yoga class) and my baby. | |
I'd like to meet:As many people as possible - I love life, and am very confident in all I do: I am one determined chick - sometimes selfish with a creative flair, but if you really want to know - I really am just the girl next door... I am genuinly happy within myself, but I do admit that I strive to get what I want out of life, which can come across as being pushy or demanding with a strong competitive STREAK. I am someone who knows what I want and will do ALL i can to get my DESIRES filled. But i also know when to move on, close a door and open another. I NEVER look back or behind. I WORK HARD BUT i PLAY HARDER. Who I Dont Want To Meet: People that add me as their friend and then get nasty - i will BLOCK you. Life is too short for my time spent reading those kinds of messages. |

I would like to add that The great thing about "reading" and the POWER of it, is that you can enterpret any piece of writing however you want to. Whether on a personal level or looking at it from any other angle - FREEDOM is thankfully existent and yours with you and your reading. Enjoy... ... ... ... "I looked up, and amidst through the fog was a horse. the rider leaned down and lifted me with his strong arms onto the back of the horse. i never saw the riders face. But i held on tight. I did not know him, but i trusted him. He led me through the waters and through the grasses as i rested my eyes and slept using his back for a pillow and his body for warmth. I knew not where we were going only what we had come through to get there. The fog started to lift as the horse began to slow. The clouds were blue and now the sun streamed. Movement stopped. I waited. Unsure whether it was nerves - or a rush of the unknown to come... I saw his face - but i felt like it was one i already knew. We had met before. We just didn’t know it. A glance at the shadow to my left, it was then that I saw it. There was only one of us on the horse. The memories quickly emerged. Heroes:Survivors of an Illness whether Cancer, Stroke or an Accident. Why? Because they are fighters. Fight and not giving up no matter how much pain they are in and how bad it hurts. I admire them for doing so. Not quitting when it gets to hard or the pain gets to much. They persevere. I strive to be like this and have half the strength that they have. My son being one of these. Receiving a 2.5cm blood clot to his brain at only 10months of age he was rushed to Waikato Hospital where Paediatrics were unsure of his future. 5 days later he recovered. My Hero is my own boy. Food For Thought: Breast Cancer can have an impact on anyone ~ no matter what race, what religion or what background… 1 in 8 woman will be diagnosed with cancer of the breast in their lifetime - Get checked today: you could save a life... possibly even your own... |
