| HAPPY NOISE
La band si forma nel 1994 sulla scia del punk hardcore di matrice californiana. Prima dell'uscita del primo disco ufficiale, partecipa a diverse compilation sul circuito italiano e internazionale assieme a NOFX GOOD RIDDANCE e molti altri. Nel 1998 esce "..just like a martian.." primo LP autoprodotto al c.s.o.a.Forte Prenestino. Dopo un lungo periodo di promozione in giro per l'italia e non solo (svizzera. olanda) nel 2001 esce il disco split su riot records assieme ai milanesi minnies, con il quale si ridefinisce lo stile musicale e l'insofferenza ai classici schemi 4chords si fa sentire. Del 2003 e' la partecipazione Appetite con un cd split assieme a Php, Rifiuti, Wendigo. In questi anni la band condivide il palco con gruppi come propagandhi, offspring, strike anywhere, sick of it all, burning heads, strung out. Nel 2008, all'inizio per necessità poi per scelta, la band si trova con una formazione a 3. E' qui che il modo di comporre e di suonare subisce un'evoluzione e con ritmi talvolta meno ostentati rispetto ad un classico HC, la band romana si trova di nuovo a valorizzare i cantati e la melodia, pur non trascurando groove incalzanti e di impatto. Del 2008 sono le ultime uscite con "anomalia" per la compilation indiebox vol.3 e con "ciò che resta" per la compilation sinrecords "52 reasons to be a sin rocker". |
