About Me |
|
OK....so...that "About me" part ...ahhh.. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, & now with 1000+ pic upload...mine should tell A LOT about me.. The most obvious is I speak visually...visual artist ...visual ...right.
So....
I am a Artist who
tends to hermitize...
I'm quiet until I get to know you...
I am a mother of a
beautiful 6'3" 200ish lb,
I take pictures constantly, documenting.... So umm...oh yeah ...ME ..where was I ..
I am a garden digging-flower plantin-tree huggerishy
I am an obsessive
collector of music,
I collect quotes, proverbs & other short sayings
I truly believe that our world and the racial tensions in
it
Your either part of the solution...or part of the
problem.
My Work...
I as I mentioned, am an
artist |

My Interests |

My Official Website: Like many people ..my life has a sound track my play list below...just a fragment of right "now" What you hear here is what is currently playing in my ear...(everyone who knows me knows I have my headphones on anytime I have to leave the batcave lol. )....I add to/remove/change it reflecting me as I relate to the world and it relates back...attempting to find the perfect combination that explains me...why I do what I do...where I currently "am" defined by music. Music I associate with certain moods, or music to change my mood...music I listen to when I need a lil extra help, music to remind me that I am hard strong a warrior ..music to relax me ...calm me down...to remind me I am soft ..gentle ..tender ..loving ...music to remind me ...where I have been ....and music that gives me hope of where my feet might land. Music that understands what I'm thinking, .feeling, ..needing, ..resenting, ..loving, ..mourning, and celebrating...
Music, that marks/reminds me of certain points in my
life, places, and people who have come, gone and stayed...in and through my
life. and how I see "you"...So.....If you know me ..in the real life
context ...there is probably a song or 2 here I associate with you... Books:..yeah I own a few, lol obviously too many to list! ...knowledge is power baby ...knowledge is power Currently Reading: The Condemnation of Little B. By: Elaine Brown Beacon Press, February 02 ISBN 0-807-00974-1 According to a 1999 NAACP Defense Fund report, two-thirds of the juveniles on death row in the U.S. are children of color, mainly black, and quite a few of them did not receive proper legal representation or full constitutional protection like Little B. Here, with a few minor digressions and history lessons, Brown, whose potent revolutionary fervor emerges on every page, issues a terrifying wake-up call to all... Heroes:They sat at lunch counters, they marched, they held sit ins, rallys, they boycotted buses, they went were they knew they weren't welcome...because they knew they had the human right to be there. They were the beautiful people in all shades and hues, even races, that fought for our right to be whatever we wanted to be when we grew up.. equal and NOT separated. How many of these names do you know, can you pick out which one invented the traffic signal, or which was the first woman in congress, do you know how many of them are artists, which ones were the very first at something….or how many were/are African American? ...How much of OUR American History do you REALLY know?
